Kindergarten is over!

I can't believe it! A is done with Kindergarten. She learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Thanks Mrs Tipton! They had the cutest program. Each student got to pick out their favorite thing to wear and they had a fashion show. You can see Aly strutting her stuff. She picked her soccer uniform. I was a little surprised. She loves to wear dresses and other fancy things. I guess she really loves soccer. Her teacher described each students outfit along with their favorite color, food and book. It was really fun to watch. Some of the kids got really nervous, but it was fun to watch them try to walk like a model. Then they sang a few songs and had a slide show. It was really fun to see all of it. I hear a lot of people complain about schools and teachers, but I don't have one complaint. Kindergarten was great. I just can't believe that A will be gone all day long next year. M will only have preschool two days a week. She really loves one on one time, so it will be good for her to get a little more mom time without A. M will be going to Mrs Tonya's preschool. That is where A went. M is really excited. She loves school. She's pretty smart. At about 18 months, she already knew the sound of each letter. Last year, her preschool class had 3 year olds mixed with 5 year olds. I think it was good for M. She learned a lot. I'm excited for the new year and nervous to let my little girl leave me all day long.

Do you know what track Aly is on for 1st grade yet?

Aly got A track. What track is Jade on? I think I might be brave enough to let her walk home in first grade. We'll have to get them a meeting place and let them walk together.

I remember being nervous too for the first few weeks. But really, it's soooooo nice!
That's good that you're not a complainer about school. I try to be that way too.
